Luogang District

Luogang District — This is the eastern part of the city and is famous for its plum forest. It is not a popular tourist destination, but it does has some historical sites. The urban part of the 10 districts are covered by this article, whereas Panyu, Huangpu, Nansha, Huadu, Nangang, and part of Tianhe and Baiyun are covered by Guangzhou Outer City.
The Luogang District is dominated by industry. The six pillar industries of refined chemicals, electronic information, bio-pharmaceutics, food & drinks, metal smelting and processing, automobiles and parts are continually expanding, with their gross industrial output value accounting for over 80% of the whole District. Also the Luogang District has established the largest air conditioner compressor production base, circuit board production base, one of the stainless steel circuit board production bases and the first car export production base in China.
The Luogang District is blessed with numerous landscapes and scenic spots, including the Tianluhu Forest Park, the Danshuikeng Beauty Spot, the Luogang Xiangxue Park and more.
