  1. The garden is colorful and very well taken care of. First impression – am I in Guangzhou or Netherland? Lots of decorative buildings and statues, bright colors, heaven for my camera!

There are many flowers, and at the back there is an area for roses. Colorful roses, smells so nice.

There is a little hike. When you reached the shop, you can get a nice view of GZ city. No need to go up again to the peak, as you can’t see anything from there. The view is blocked by trees. Just buy a bottle of cold drink at the shop, sit there and enjoy the view.

The only thing I missed was the green house, as I found it on 6:30, and it was closed on 6pm. Peeking from outside, the plants inside the green house are pretty and well taken care of. Will come back next time and visit the green house first.

Recommended to visit. Kids would love it there. Even me as a solo traveler enjoyed it so much! After go around the gardens, sit on the lakeside and relax… Enjoy!

  2. We visited the Yuntai Garden with anther couple. The four of us had an enjoyable day. Well worth visiting this lovely garden.

  3. This garden is at the base of the entrance of Baiyun Mountain. Plan at least a few hours to explore the entire Garden. There are regional sections that are beautifully arranged, This is a must to see and very reasonably priced!!!

  4. A very nice park close to the bajun mountain with a lot of flowers and nice scenery. Entrance fee is low, 10RMB – it’s worth it.

If you still do not have enough of nature, you can continue climbing bayun mountain – the main track starts just a few 100 meters next to it (or you can take the cable car which is next to the exit, too)

  5. From the top of BaiYun Mountain you can take a cable car into YunTai Gardens. But as suggested before, the walk down BaiYun is better.
Holland is recreated here and Tulips can be found in every colour possible with windmills, and milkmaids, and wooden clogs, and Heifer cows ….. everything Dutch one can think of.
There is a Rose Garden for newly weds with rows of huge arches to stroll through for photo sessions, as well as a fountain and roman columns ideal as matrimonial settings.
