Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is located on the border of the northern Renhe Town, Baiyun District, and the eastern Xinhua Town, Huadu District. It is one of the three largest air hubs in China. It hosts over 30 airlines worldwide, operating a total of more than 110 flights to over 100 cities at home and abroad. The airport is the main hub of China Southern Airlines and a focus city for Shenzhen Airlines.

The current airport opened on August 5, 2004, replacing the 72-year-old previous, identically named Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (now closed).
