Guangzhou Bus Service is one of the easiest modes of transport in the city. If you come to Guangzhou in China, you will be impressed to find that most of the tourist and locals avail of the bus services within and outside the city because the bus services connect the remotest places of the city unlike the train service.
Please note that English and Chinese names of bus stations vary from one sign to another — coach terminal, coach station, bus terminal, bus station, passenger terminal or passenger station. Be aware that the different names may be referring to the same station.


Bus Service in Guangzhou has been very meticulously chalked out so that all the major points in the city can be comprehensively linked by this mode of public transport. You will also be surprised to know that Guangzhou Bus Service will let you travel across the city at the cheapest rate possible. If you hop onto the older buses, you will have to pay just 1 Yen and 2 Yen if you board the air-conditioned ones. You can also board a long-distance bus station from Guangzhou to the neighboring areas and a direct bus from Guangzhou to Hong Kong.
Guangzhou Provincial Passenger Bus Station is the largest bus station in Guangdong province. Buses depart here daily to the neighboring Guangxi, Hunan, Fujian and Jiangxi Provinces. There are also deluxe buses to Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau. The easiest way from Guangzhou to Hong Kong is by the deluxe bus following along the Guangzhou-Shenzhen freeway in 2.5 hours.

Guangzhou has a convenient expressway system radiating from the downtown area to cities countrywide especially cities in and around Guangdong Province. . At present, there are 15 bus stations are in Guangzhou, operating frequent buses to and from the cities in and around Guangdong Province.
Serves many long-distance destinations, such as Guilin, Macau, zhanjiang and zhongshan.
The Baiyun Bus Station, which has minibuses to Foshan and Shenzhen. Both the Baiyun and the Liuhua bus stations are east of the Guangzhou City bus station and do not have signs found on the south side of Zhongshan 8 Lu (further along to the west of Zhongshan 7 Lu), just north of Liwanhu Park. Nearby is the Xijiao bus station (to the west of Guangfo bus station on the intersection of Huangsha Lu and Zhongshan 8 Lu), which is also useful for getting to towns in the Pearl RiverDelta. Places served from there include shenzhen,Zhongshan and zhuhai.

Guangyuan Bus Station 广园汽车客运站
Location: 283 Guangyuan Zhong Lu, Guangzhou

Guangyuan Bus Station is situated at the junction of ‘Guangzhou – Shenzhen’ Expressway, ‘Guangzhou – Foshan’ Expressway, Baiyun Dadao and Guangyuan Lu. It mainly offers buses to go to Shenzhen and Dongguan. Additionally, it provides passenger transport services to go to the west and the north of Guangdong Province.

Yuexiu South Bus Station 越秀南汽车站
Buses Leave for: Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Zhongshan, cities inside Guangdong Province and many other cities in provinces of Jiangxi, Jiangsu and Guangxi, such as Guilin, Nanchang, Zhengzhou and Nanjing

Those passengers who go to Hong Kong or Macau need to go through entry formalities at Yuexiu South Bus Station.

There has not metro station near the Yuexiu South Bus Station ,But the Metro ,Line 1, Peasant Movement Institutes is near the Yuexiu South Bus station ,Exit B, need to working 1.5 kilometer to the station, Maybe you can by taxi at Peasant Movement Institutes ,Price would be cheaper!

Tip:
When the Spring Festival and other national holidays are coming, most of the bus stations sell tickets in advance. But how many days in advance the tickets are sold are not the same. You’d better inquiry the bus station in person as early as possible. Usually, the tickets for interprovince routes can be purchased in advance of 8 days, while the tickets for the inner Guangdong routes are sold in advance of 3 to 5 days. For example, Fangcun Bus Station can sell tickets 6 days in advance; Guangyuan Bus Station start to sell 5 days in advance; Yuexiu South Bus Station sell tickets 4 to 5 days in advance.
